The Philippine Investment Management (PHINMA) Group’s Vision and Mission is to help build our nation through competitive and well-managed business enterprises that enable Filipinos to attain better quality of life. With effective management as our distinctive edge, we aim to give Filipinos improved access to the essentials of a designed life.

Philippine Investment Management (PHINMA), Inc. was established in 1956 as the first investment management firm. Through the years, it has expanded into various businesses and currently consists of companies that deal with energy, financial services, property and shelter, roofing, animation, BPO and education. It ventured into the latter in 2001.

 In 2004, PHINMA Education Network (PEN) was launched with the PHINMA Group’s acquisition of Araullo University in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija. In 2005, PEN acquired Cagayan de Oro College in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental. PEN continued to grow when in 2009 it acquired the University of Iloilo in Iloilo City and the University of Pangasinan in Dagupan City.

“We will offer not only affordable high quality education, but also a brighter future for globally competitive Filipino professionals and workers,” PHINMA President and CEO Ramon del Rosario, Jr. has declared. To fulfill this vision from our mission statement, PHINMA through PEN, aims to create a group of schools that will produce graduates who are competitive in the global market.
